Colorado ASTA Summer Scholarships

The Colorado American String Teachers Association (ASTA) will award several scholarships to students wishing to participate in Summer Music Camps. These scholarships will be awarded not only for merit but also for financial need. These scholarships will be awarded to students who excel in their musical studies, musicianship, leadership, citizenship and academic achievement.
Students receiving the scholarship will be awarded either a full tuition scholarship to the summer music camp of their choice or a partial award, depending upon the number of applicants. The recipient(s) of the award will be announced by the first of May. The scholarship will be paid directly to the summer music camp the student plans to attend. Scholarships may not be used for private music lessons.
